Here’s a new piece I’ve been working on.
Something I am maybe working on. Might just ditch it.
Been working on this the past few days. There’s a LOT of pencil and acrylic paint in here, and it’s now proving very difficult to photograph. This is a slightly Photoshopped approximation of how it should look. I’ll try again maybe tomorrow.
Another one from the vaults – an illustration for Jonathan Swift’s A Modest Proposal. Maybe a little less on the subtle side than I would make it today.
'I have been assured by a very knowing American of my acquaintance in London, that a young healthy child well nursed is at a year old a most delicious, nourishing, and wholesome food, whether stewed, roasted, baked, or boiled ...'
Just dug up this self-portrait the other day. It’s from back in the Boston days, which dates it to about 2005? I remember not liking it at the time – now, not so bad!
